Ginger Peach Tea Recipe

Powell & Mahoney Limited sent me a bottle of their Old Bally Castle Ginger Cocktail Mixer. It was my first introduction to the cocktail mixing company. As a huge fan of ginger, I figured I would come up with a special southern cocktail spirit. And there you have it—my Ginger Peach Tea recipe was born. Perfect with alcohol, perfect without. I loved the rich flavor that the mixer added to the concoction. You can get more info on the mixer here or can pick it up at select The Fresh Market or Publix grocery stores.

Ingredients: Fresh Peaches | Lemon | 10 Cane Rum (optional) | Sugar in the Raw (liquid) | Powell & Mahoney Limited Ginger Mixer | Fresh Mint Leaves | Ice Cubes | Republic of Tea Ginger Peach Iced Tea

  •  (3) Fresh Sliced Peaches
  • (1) Quart of 10 Cane Rum
  • (1) 25 fl oz Powell & Mahoney Limited Ginger Mixer
  • (1) 12 fl oz Sugar in the Raw
  • (3) Republic of Tea Ginger Peace Ice Tea Bags
  • (2) Lemons
  • (1) Bag of Fresh Mint Leaves
  • Ice Cubes
Preparation: Boil hot water in preparation to steep tea. Make enough tea to your discretion (cup, quart, gallon, etc). For this recipe, I will steep a quart of ginger peach tea. Pour hot water in large drink container. Add 3 iced tea bags and let steep for 3 minutes, then remove. Add enough liquid sugar to taste. Add two fresh sliced peaches to container. Then add two cups of ginger mixer. Stir and let sit refrigerated for 24 hours. After 24 hours, pour iced tea in glass then add a splash of rum, lemon and mint leaves to your liking. Cheers!
