J. Cole — The Fall-Off
If you know me, then you already know that I’m always checking for Cole. In fact, I’ve seen him three times in concert — once in 2013 with Wale (this was a vibe), again in 2024 with Drake on the “It’s All a Blur” tour, right before all of the drama ensued between Drake and Kendrick, and most recently in 2026 on The Fall Off Tour. This latest release is a double-disc, career-summing project that splits into two halves — one tracing his mid-twenties hustle, the other his late-thirties perspective — running well over a hundred minutes across 24 songs. I won’t rank this project against his previous work, because I think it deserves its own place in today’s space. But I will tell you what some of my favorite tracks are on the project.
