DIY Abstract Print Mini

Hi Lovies,
I stepped out this weekend to celebrate yet another major accomplishment for a dear friend who happens to be a very talented fashion designer. Part of her long list of accomplishments as a fashion designer includes the designing of NFL professional cheerleader outfits. We took to the town to celebrate the addition of the NBA LA Lakers to her roster. There is nothing like stepping out on faith and following your dreams. I’m super proud of her and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for her.
I made this dress a couple weeks back and after trying it on a couple times, I decided to make a couple adjustments to the original design. What started out as a tea-length dress turned into a mini. I decided to wear it with these sandals that were more of a comfy choice than a stylish one. Sometimes a girl’s gotta opt for comfort over style and I had to do just that. Honestly, these feet have some major recuperating to do after suffering at the fate of the beloved luggage color Michael Kors booties I wore last weekend. Oooh weee….that is all I’m going to say. I was able to snap a couple pics on the way out. Do you have a pair of heels that you have a love/hate relationship with? Have a fabulous week. Peace, love & blessings!
