Certainly an oldie, but a goodie. When I first heard this LP back in 2013 I couldn’t help but to breathe a breath of fresh air. The now 29 year-old Brit brought something fresh and unique to the music scene. Influenced by American legends such as Lauren Hill, Jill Scott, and Erykah Badu—-Sing To The Moon is eclectic. It’s British. It’s Brilliant. It’s Beautiful. If you’re open to different sounds, you should certainly give Laura Mvula a listen.

I remember when there were posters of this album all over London. She looks very much like an acquaintance of mine and I took a photo of the poster to show it to her. She very much agreed with the resemblance.
