Model Watch: Zoe

I first discovered the fabulous Zoe when she ripped the runway at a local Tim Gunn event (see post here) and at another recent event (see post here). First—I was instantly drawn to her walk, then secondly the attitude and face that she gave the audience at the end of the runway. Her unique beauty was a given so the first two qualities certainly left me intrigued. I wanted to know more about what I recently came to know of the teenage beauty. I love when I discover a fashionista who wears the clothes that are chosen versus the opposite. I certainly hope to see lots more from this beautiful young lady and without further ado….I introduce you to Ms. Zoe. Check out her interview below.

Q: Where are you originally from?  
A: I was born in Orlando, FL but my parents are from Puerto Rico and Trinidad.

Q: Who was your role model as a child and how did they influence you to become a model? 
A: I have always liked to watch Tyra Banks on Americas Next Top Model and she is who initially inspired me to try modeling.

Q: How did you feel when you did your first ever fashion show or photo shoot? 
A: At my very first fashion show I wasn’t even nervous, I am always eager and excited to walk before every runway show.

Q: What are your guilty pleasure foods? Apple pie! 
A: You can always find an apple pie at my house 24/7.  Chicken wings (but only my mom’s secret recipe) and french fries.

Q: What artist or choice of music is playing in the background when you are working with the glam squad to get photo shoot fresh? 
A: They mostly play current hits and once in a while they will play a few of my favorite country songs at my request.

Q: What beauty tips do you swear by? 
A: No rules. Just be healthy.

Q: Name one designer that you would love to rip the runway for? 
A: Michael Kors, even his commercials make my heart skip a beat!

Q: Favorite clothing item in your closet?  
A: My Lilly Pulitzer dress. It’s cute and classy.

Q: LA or New York? 
A: LA! I need as much of the warm weather and sea side as I can get!

Q: One misconception about models that you would like to clear up?  
A: Models DO eat!! It’s all about moderation.

  6. She's a beautiful girl, who doesn't look to be too terribly thin- and that's refreshing!
    Hate those collar-bones popping and all of that but Zoe is gorgeous, toned and has retained a feminine shape. Nice to see 🙂
