Bye Bye Pre-K, Hello Kindergarten. My sweet, smart, supper cool and rambunctious 4-year-old graduated from VPK recently. I can’t believe my baby is headed to kindergarten. Whip out the box of kleenex….this mama will need them come first day of school. It’s a bitter sweet feeling to see him progress, develop and grow but the fact that my little sweet boy will soon lose that chipmunk voice, stop requesting hugs from his mama and will probably ask that I not kiss him when I drop him off to school—-simply saddens me. SMH. But I certainly take comfort in knowing that I am not the first mom, nor the last mom to possess these feelings. Change is good. Until next time….Peace, Love & Blessings.
