DIY Floral Harem Jumpsuit

Hi Lovies,

Happy Spring! I hope you guys are doing well. Today I’m rocking a DIY jumpsuit that I made a few months ago. Ha! The story behind this jumpsuit is pretty funny because it was by pure accident….LOL. It was originally suppose to be a pair of pants but some how I’m not really sure how the end result became this jumpsuit. Oops! None the less, the fabric was a luxe Italian bamboo jersey that was so fabulous that I just couldn’t scrap the project. I was determined to make it work (in the Tim Gunn voice) and as a result, we have this.

I scooped this white denim blazer at Ross a couple years ago on the clearance rack and was so excited when I stumbled upon it. It’s been a fabulous go-to for me over the years. The pumps? Jean Michele-Cazabat. My favorite pump designer at the moment. Sure…there are plenty shoe designers out there but none does it for me like Mr. Pump Perfectionist himself; JMC. So this spring…. Be Bold. Be Fabulous. Be You!

“Just be true to yourself, and listen as much as one is able to to other people whose opinions you respect and look up to but in the end it has to come from you. You can’t really worry too much by looking to the left and the right about what the competition is doing or what other people in your field are doing. It has to be a true vision.”
