This weekend I attended a food & wine tasting which came as a Christmas gift that was so right on time. The hubby and I certainly needed some time away and what’s more perfect than the beach, gourmet food and wine! The only thing missing was the sunshine, but a little rain and overcast skies didn’t stop no show as the saying goes. We ate, we drank, we ate, we drank…….and you know the rest. From scallops, paella, cajun shrimps, chicken fajitas, gourmet cheeses, mussels, desserts, sangria, wine, beer; the options were infinite. Many of my favorite local restaurants like Oystercatchers, Salt Rock Grill and Island Way Grill were sponsors of the event. It was fun times indeed. Hope you guys are having a great weekend.
