Allusions by A. Lekay, a luxe vintage-inspired swimwear line celebrated its 1 year anniversary Saturday, May 10th in style; poolside at the exclusive Treasure Island Yatch Club. The event served up great entertainment that included a live band, performances by the talented Tampa Bay Synchrays, and a fabulous fashion show. The celebratory milestone for CEO and chief designer A. Lekay; whose dream of creating sexy, feminine and beach appropriate  swimwear for fashionistas wanting to modestly flaunt their curves while feeling confident comes on the heel of next week’s showcase at Miami Fashion Week 2014. Overnight success? Not so much. What started as a dream, hard  work and determination blossomed into a brand that has achieved a great deal of success since its official launch. In an industry that requires a strong sense of creativity, business acumen and resilience; the creative brains behind the brand has made her mark well within the  industry; and rightfully so. From showcasing her line at Mercedez Benz Fashion Week in New York and Miami Fashion Week—all while continuing to build upon an established  clientele; the A.
