Hello0000 Summer! Well. . . it’s that time when we rock all white, spend lots of time by the water and give our toes some extra breathing room. Yup, it is officially summer and I am loving it and hating it all the same. For some odd reason I think it’s going to be a brutal summer on the heat index. Living in Florida in the summer can be a force to reckon with; from the seasonal threat of hurricanes to the sweltering heat. I really shouldn’t be complaining especially as an islander. So—with that being said, all complaints will cease from here on out. LOL. No but seriously, 95 degrees in June. What will July and August bring?

I found this cute maxi last summer at a local boutique and loved it on first sight. It’s no secret that I have a love affair with color. So when I stumbled upon this marvelous maxi, it was only right that it found a new home. Speaking of maxis, I’m currently making one with hopes to have it wrapped up by July 4th weekend. I love, love, love this look! Maxi's are summer's great gift. They are comfortable, chic, and classy all at the same time. Plus they allow you to catch a quick breeze in the hot sun. As for the weather? Girl it's for the birds. I'm trying to figure out what's going on in my country. I've been dying to hit the beach since I got back from vacay but it's been raining nonstop AND it's humid! Le sigh.
