Hey beauties! TGIF. We made it. It was an extremely long work week for me. I’m so glad to see the weekend. I can’t believe that summer is soon to come to an end. Both the hubs and I are totally welcoming fall. Yup–football for him and of course fashion for me. Fashion week is almost here and I’m totally looking forward to all of the Fashionably Fabulous inspiration.Today, I’m mixing-and-matching a little thrift and retail. You guys know that I’m all for mixing. Whether it’s DIY, retail or consignment thrifting all three provides the ultimate fashion fix. I found this fabulous peplum hem skirt at H&M a few months back but the sad part was—I couldn’t zip it. Yup, my derriere wouldn’t allow (oh the struggle), so the creator in me decided to rock it backwards. Ha! That’s how you solve that. Sometimes you just can’t take NO for an answer.

yesss Natasha! I did the same thing with this dress I bought. The pattern placement on the chest area was sooo wrong so I just turned it backwards and ended up liking the high neckline and low back 🙂

So mad I missed this skirt. I orders one from ASOS in a sift baby blue and had the same issue couldn't zip. Didn't think to wear out backwards but for the price I needed it to fit like it was tailor made so I returned it. Major sad face 🙁 Love the styling. The blouse really adds pizzazz.
