Editor’s Message | With all of life’s complexities, sometimes we have a tendency to to miss the satirical messages that it sends. Sure, we may not care for the cards that we were dealt—but we still have to play the game. And it is how we choose to play the game is what matters most. So, as I reflect on what is left of 2014, in 2015 I challenge myself to revisit my approach and interpretations to life’s message. As I write this, I think back to my experience at Oprah’s The Life You Want Tour when Iyanla Vanzant so eloquently said, “life, she is your friend”. She was right. That friend who tells it like it is, unfiltered, raw and unadulterated . Her. Sometimes things are simply easier said than done, but if we can manage to sometimes look at life as a satirical caricature— it can be the first step to acceptance. So whatever life’s lesson, just have a good laugh at it. In the end, laughter is the best medicine. So cheers to lots of laughter in 2015, because sometimes we really shouldn’t take life so seriously.
Until next time friends…..Peace, Love & Laughter!

Hey Neti…Happy Holidays. No, this illustration was gifted to me. Thanks hun.
I love this pic too! Along Ms. Vanzant's words, one must always remember the following quote:
“The most important decision we make is whether we believe we live in a friendly or hostile universe.” Albert Einstein
Thank you Neo. So true on that quote. Thanks for sharing.
