And of course you already know that the foodie in me couldn’t be in LA without getting my eat on.
My girlfriend and I met some amazing and inspiring women who came together all in the name of the craft that was once looked upon as uncool. You know—a skill only reserved for those retirees seeking a post retirement hobby. One thing is for sure, there is a DIY movement brewing and the creative spirit in me is loving every bit of it. Freedom. Individuality. Confidence. Creativity–is what the craft means to me. It is undeniably a movement that is surely here to stay. I met some amazing women for the first time and reconnected with many this weekend. But if there is anything that I took away from this awesome weekend it was this—–it doesn’t matter the cards you were dealt. It’s how you play the game. When you give, you will receive an abundance in return. If you can dream it, you can achieve it. It is totally okay to step out on faith and take risks. And lastly….God is good.
