DIY Abstract Print Dress

Hey Lovies….Happy Monday! Back to work we go. I hope you had a fabulous weekend. I made this dress sometime back using the Tracy Reese Vogue 1314 pattern. Way back when I had troubles sewing a stitch in a straight line. Oh….how far we’ve come. LOL. It is one of those patterns that I use as a template for other dress projects. It’s easy, breezy and mindless. I decided to keep the fit a little less fitted so that I could also wear it to work (I’m a healthcare IT professional by day). I’m a huge fan of the midi length—it adds an effortless touch of sophistication. I also altered the neckline to a modified boat-neck. I also omitted the ruching that the pattern called for. I can’t really  remember where I purchased this luxe modal jersey fabric—maybe ebay.

Sometimes I forget that I have dresses in my closet. I’m so use to separates. I’m going to make a cognitive effort to start incorporating more dresses in my OOTD posts. Pinky promise. Until next time lovies. . . . . Peace, Love & Blessings!
